Jason taught my color photo darkroom class at Columbia. He always encouraged the kind of work I wanted to do, especially when the class missed it. I recently stumbled on his website, and found some of his recent work. Note the portrait of Calvin Johnson in there (the singer in Beat Happening, not the wide receiver)
